PRIMARY SCHOOL RECONSTRUCTION AND EXTENTION IN PRA

The aim of the design is spatial variability and the possibility of expanding teaching both to the exterior and to common areas. Tribal classes are in the existing and new building. The connecting element is a staircase hall, which creates a space for breaks and a common background for students with the possibility of informal teaching. From this hall it is possible to enter the break yard on the ground floor and the terrace on the first floor. The yard can also be used for cultural activities of the school. The tribe classrooms have a cluster scheme with storage spaces in the form of furniture walls inside the classes. The preschool and first classroom located on the ground floor of the old building have a separate entrance to the orchard garden with game elements. On the ground floor of the new building, there is a sufficiently illuminated polytechnic classroom with direct access to the courtyard. The gym has a separate entrance from the playground or through the canteen. This makes it possible for the public to use it. One floor higher is a canteen connected to the gym, an outdoor playground, a kitchen with facilities and a hallway, usable as a gym balcony. The canteen can also be used as a school auditorium, together with the gym, it can function as a space for school performances, balls and other leisure and extracurricular activities, for lectures or as a common room for the public. The school's outdoor living areas are made up of a tartan surface and grass surfaces with paths to maximize rainwater drainage.
