RESIDENTIAL BUILDING NA SANTINCE, PRAGUE

Design of a residential building Na Santince, 2009 – façade designs, alterations to layout, built 2012. The task was to design a modification to a building's volume, façades, and layout. The buildings primary design configuration was considerably flared. Aoc designed parts: the order of the façades, receding top floors, deflection of the northern façade in the sense of Engel’s regulation, at the same time respecting the scheme of “four towers”. What we consider to be the most important asset of the design, is the large-scale arcade and creating an atmosphere of the originally intended spatial character of a public plaza.
