NEW MUNICIPAL HOUSE IN PANENSKÉ BŘEŽANY

We are designing a new municipal house, whose basic features are variability, contextuality, and a pleasant atmosphere supporting a community character. We modify the semi-detached house into a public space close to nature. The shape of the volume of the house is based on the vernacular morphology of the village development, the composition of the facade is determined by a gable wall with a large window, which ensures the contact of the public space with the events in the house. The foyer with a bar opens into a new residential courtyard defined by the neighboring house. The hall and the clubhouse have separate entrances and are connected to the main foyer. The library is separable to create a quiet area.
