RENOVATION OF THEATRE ROKOKO, PRAGUE
Theatre Rokoko belongs into a group of Prague City Theatres. Formerly a cabaret hall in a decorative style of the third rococo, occupied by many of the important figures of the Czech theatre, stripped of worthless additions from the second half of the 20th century and unified in visual artistry. The bottom line of the design lies in the mounting of new seating with artificial leather finish, brick red Venetian stuccos, renewal of the ceiling lamps and replacing the carpet. A statue of the actor Václav Voska, sculpted by prof. Kurt Gebauer, was installed in the foyer, in the entry hall a mosaic was renovated and railings gilded. The theatres utility spaces were also renovated.
